Our Story

Giuseppe Brownell grew up in the Umbria region of Italy.  His exposure to the culinary delights of authentic home cooked Italian meals was what ignited his passion for food.  Many days were spent at his grandmother's side, watching her cook old family recipes.

With the love and support of his family, Giuseppe's Italian Restaurant was established in 1996 in downtown Denton, TX.  Part of the restaurant's appeal lies in the charm and beauty of it's location, a historic Victorian home.

At Giuseppe’s Italian Restaurant, our Italian cooking follows the traditions and styles one could only find in Italy.  Giuseppe’s is about authentic northern cuisine...it’s about family and celebrating life...and it’s about warm and attentive “old fashioned” service. 

Our restaurant is available for private events: weddings, dinners, showers, holiday parties, and more.
